Introduction: The Maastricht University colleges and Schools offers Maastricht university international scholarships for its three-year bachelor’s programmes to talented students from international schools with the interest to expand their global education.

There are more scholarships via Vodacom Scholarship Scheme.

Current Maastricht University students looking to fund their studies can apply for one of this competitive scholarships. Applicants must apply for a study programme at Maastricht University before applying for a scholarship. 

Things to check about all scholarships:  Nationality eligibility for the scholarship; study programme participating in the scholarship.

Example of the scholarship:

University College Maastricht (UCM) scholarships

Five bachelor applicants will earn this scholarship. Applicants must be highly motivated. 

Eligibility:

All candidates must be accepted into the Liberal Arts & Sciences programme of UCM.

Highly qualified, low-income student from a non-EU/EEA country.

Applicants must not hold an EU/EEA passport
Must not hold a current student status at UCM

More about UCM Scholarship

The UCM scholarship is awarded for the duration of the Bachelor’s programme, with a maximum of 36 months.

Value of the UCM Scholarship.

Living expenses € 500 per month Paid to students.
Health & liability insurance At cost Arranged for and paid by UCM
Visa application costs € 171.
Tuition fees € 10,900 per year .
Housing At cost Arranged for and paid by UCM.

Nationality Eligible

Applicants must be enrolled as students at U.S. higher education institutions.
Applicants should hold a passport from an emerging country in South America, Africa or Asia.
Applicants should be born and raised in Maastricht.
Applicants live and/or were born and raised in Amstenrade, Bingelrade, Brunssum, Doenrade, Jabeek, Merkelbeek, Oirsbeek, Schinveld and Sittard.
