Omid Cambridge scholarship
Introduction: The provider of Omid Cambridge scholarship, Omid Trust is an independent, non-partisan not-for-profit organisation registered in the UK. The Trust works for the educational and cultural benefit of the people of Iran, and is dedicated to supporting the brightest Iranian students pursue higher education at top universities around the world.
The Omid Trust operates a scholarship programme at the University of Cambridge.
Choosing a Course with Omid
Scholarships by Omid Trust may be awarded to applicants for one-year taught MSc in any subject available at the University of Cambridge. Note that MBA and the MFIN courses are exempted.
Choosing a College for Omid Scholarship
The Omid Cambridge Scholarship is tenable only at St Edmund’s College, Cambridge. To secure a scholarship to be used at other university, kindly contact the Omid Trust directly in advance of submitting application.
The Number of Scholarships and value of scholarship awarded by Omid Trust
The Omid Trust aim to award one or two scholarships in each academic year. The value of the scholarship is university tuition fees ( £15,000 – £30,000). Students are expected to pay for any associated college fees including living expenses, accommodation etc.

Omid Cambridge Scholarships Eligibility:
1) Applicants must be citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran and liable to pay international or overseas fees for their desired Masters course at the University of Cambridge. Applicants may not be citizens of any other country (e.g. dual nationals) which will result in them being eligible to pay fees at the Home/EU rate.
2) It is not necessary for applicants to reside in Iran at the time of their application, or to have completed their undergraduate degree in any particular country.
3) Applications must apply to the University of Cambridge according to the published procedure and timetable, and be offered admission.
4) Applicants must state St Edmund’s College as their first-choice college in Cambridge.
Omid Cambridge Scholarships Deadline:
There will be two general course deadlines of December and January .
